Al Zubarah Fort

About an hour’s drive from Doha, Al Zubarah Fort is Qatar’s largest archaeological heritage site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering 60 hectares, the site preserves the remains of houses, mosques, markets, date presses, and fortified buildings from what was once the Gulf’s last great pearling town.
